Environmental Conditioning Unit (ECU)

Environmental Conditioning Unit is designed in order to respond cooling and heating requirement of laser targetting pod, the new generation, multi-sensor targeting pod designed for war air-crafts. The purpose of the system is to maintain required climate conditions of laser targettin pod when it ramped and during various different flight conditions. Electric heaters are used for demanded heating force while gas flow cooling circuit is used in order to provide cooling power and thermal power obtained from air. The system designed as LRU level is available for demounting from mechanical and electrical interface in case of a failure.

Air Cycle Machine

Air Cycle Machine (ACM) is used in electronic POD’s that are assembled to aircrafts, to provide cooling for electronic equipment. When flying, RAM air that has relatively high pressure and temperature is cooled in turbine by expansion. Cooled air used in air & air heat exchanger or liquid & air heat exchanger to cool electronics. Mechanical power that is extracted from turbine is used to operate compressor that evacuate air from pod to outside. Because of high speed of turbine and compressor, optimization is done about cricital speed and bedding. Thus, reliable and longlife cooling is provided at different altitudes and different flight velocities.

Heating Cooling Unit

Heating Cooling Unit (HCU) is an environmental conditioning unit that is designed in accordance with relative standards, using vapour compression cycle to condition temperature of marine laser systems. ISB with different modes that are heating, cooling and circulation, has its own microcontroller to switch on modes according to ambient and circulation liquid temperature. Thus, laser system temperature will be optimum in any ambient conditions. ISB that is designed for marine conditions, is qualified by MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F.

Laser Weapon Cooling System

Liquid Cooling System designed for ground based laser weapon systems. Liquid coming from 3 different lines is cooled by vapor compresion cycle and recycled to the platform. System cools the 3 lines up to 7,5 kW. Radar Liquid Cooling System

Designed for air platform radars. Performs liquid cooling by using platform's ECS or Ram air. Smart liquid cooling system measuring liquid's temperature, pressure and guantity and makes necessary warnings to the platform. Uses PAO as the liguid, provides cooling up to 4,5 kW.

Gerotor Hydraulic Pump

Gerotor Hydraulic Pump is a compact and highly productive positive displacement pump developed for military aviation practices. The pump has a compact structure as it shares the same body with the self-propelled electric motor. Its export to South Korea began after successful completion of production, analysis and tests.

Fuel Transfer Pump

Initiated under the auspices of the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries as a Technology Development Liability Project, the Fuel Transfer Pump is a centrifugal pump that allows transfer of fuel to earlier elected part or directly to the motor fuel inlet port which can be compatible with JP-10 in high flow and low pressures. Following its mechanical design, computational fluid dynamics and structural analysis were completed and the production of pump began after the successful completion of environmental tests.

In aviation sector, hardest stage of power electronics is the cooling of heated integrations of power electronics elements. Heat emerges due to loss during the energy transformation. It is important to maintain fault-free function under hard conditions by carrying out temperature analysis and simulation tests in order to prevent this heat to damage other systems and keep working temperature range of modules within required parameters.

Built from 6061 anodized aluminum, it withstands harsh environments from -55°C to +100°C. The built-in tube heater and thermostat (up to 220°C) offer protection against icing, moisture, and precipitation. Designed with high durability and precision, it weighs only 400g and connects via L-type flange with brass fittings. Powered by 28VDC±4, 110W.
